Our Lenses

Single Vision - At Hopkins and Eye we offer 1.56 index lenses as our standard thickness for single vision glasses. While many other optical suppliers start with 1.50 index and charge extra for 1.56 index, we prioritise keeping costs low for our customers without compromising on quality.

Bifocals - Our standard Bifocal lenses are a flat top 28 segment and are 1.50 index.  Also available are 1.56, 1.61, 1.67 and 1.74 index. Please email us if you require any of these indexes. 

Progressives - We offer three options for Progressive lenses. Standard, Mid and Elite. All three standard thicknesses are 1.50 index. They are all available in 1.56, 1.60, 1.67 and 1.74 index. Please email us if you require any of these additional indexes.

Ready Readers - Discover the perfect solution for effortless reading with our Ready Reader glasses. Designed for those who need a little extra help with near vision and are available in a range of strengths from +1.00 to +3.00 (in +0.25 increments). Whether you're diving into a novel, scrolling through your favorite articles, or tackling work on your computer, our Ready Readers ensure you see every detail clearly.
